Founded in the early 16th century by Goswami Tulsidas, who is said to have experienced a divine vision of Lord Hanuman at this very spot. Tulsidas, author of the Ramcharitmanas, established the temple here in Varanasi along the banks of the Assi River.

Daily Darshan: Around 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM, though exact hours vary slightly by source. On Tuesdays & Saturdays, the temple stays open until midnight.

Aarti Times: Morning Aarti around 4:00 AM and evening Aarti around 9:00 PM
